The only activity today was stripping the forms from the headwall and entrance structure, and then finishing it. The photos show how much lumber goes into the forms for something like this, both to give it the exact shape it is to have, but also to keep the concrete in the right place while it cures. Concrete is very heavy..

The concrete workers turned up at about 6:45 this morning.

So here are a number of shots of the forms being stripped off.

A lot of 2 by 4's and plywood..

Finishing the exterior surfaces that will be exposed.

Note the manhole, which I think is a code requirement. It seems sort of silly here.

Finishing the inside surfaces.

And it's done.

All that remains is a yard drain that will be just behind the excavator, removing the trench box sides, and then filling this all in.

There probably will not be any more pictures for a while, but we're done with all the really interesting stuff anyway.
